2. Job Position: Import / Export Service Officer
Purpose of the Job: To enhance the revenue maximization effort of the bank by properly handling the import -export trade services in line with the rules, policies and procedures of the bank, and other international countries.
Generic Functions:
- Mentor and enable staffs below his /grades towards achieving their effective performance.
- Participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget, performance report of the division.
- Provide services as per the service level agreement.
- Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set.
- Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices.
- Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank.
Specific Functions:
- Receive and check import and export L/C documents against the terms and condition and ensures that documents are presented accordingly.
- Facilitate smooth operation of import and export business by communicating with foreign banks and branch outlets.
- Settle import /export documents after checking for compliance of shipping documents against terms and conditions of the L/C, and as well as NBE requirements.
- Register export sales contract and communicate same to the Manager, Import/ Export Division.
- Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirement:
Qualification:
- BA in Business Management/ Accounting/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Accounting and Finance Economics/ Marketing Management or any other related fields
Experience:
- Three /3 years of relevant banking experience of which one/1 years on officer position.
4. Job Position: Junior Remittance & Fund Management Officer

Purpose of the Job: To provide assistance in the activities of negotiating with foreign banks, working with forex activities and remittance agencies, cultivating smooth relationship with correspondent Banks.
Generic Functions:
- Provide the required assistance in all activities of the work unit.
- Properly maintain important files/records and avail when required.
- Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices.
- Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank.
- Participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget, performance report of the division.
- Provide the concerned organ with timely, relevant, accurate, and complete reports on the plan performance.
Specific Functions:
- Check all outgoing financial payments through SWIFT against approved foreign currency and appropriate posting in the bank’s system.
- Prepare foreign currency requests and submit for review and approval by concerned Senior Managers.
- Assist in compilation performance report of Forex Bureau and Remittance Agencies to update their status and take measures for improvement when necessary.
- involve in Identifying of opportunities for negotiations with remittance service providing companies.
- Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirement:
Qualification:
- BA in Business Management/ Accounting/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Accounting and Finance Economics/ Marketing Management or any other related fields
Experience:
- One / 1 year experience in relevant fields preferably in banking industry.
- Take up the roles of the division manager in his/her absence.
- Actively participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division.
- Mentor and enable staffs below his/her grades towards achieving their effective performance.
- Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct; embody the bank’s good culture and corporate image to the public.
- Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the Bank’s learning & development strategies/ programs on organizational, functional and employee levels.
- Prepare and review annual training plan/budget in line with the training need assessment, career management program and succession plan.
- Analyze needs, assess the capacities of staff, and propose continuous education (e.g. Training plan, trainings of trainers, seminars).
- Perform other duties as required.
- Qualification: BA in Management, Business Management, Public administration and Development Management or any other related fields
- Five/ 5 years of relevant banking experience of which two /2 year on officer position.
